The Consulate General of Israel, the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and Congregation Mikveh Israel are presenting a movie/lecture program at Congregation Mikveh Israel, 44 N. 4th St, Philadelphia on Nov. 26 at 7 p.m.
The program features a special screening of Duki Dror’s Shadow in Baghdad in honor of the date chosen by the Knesset to commemorate the Middle Eastern Jewish experience, including the exodus of Iraqui Jews after denationalization in 1950. The opening remarks will be given by Gallit Peleg, Israel’s Consul for Public Diplomacy [JB emphasis] at New York.
The film will be followed by Q & A with Mrs. Menuhin, the subject of the movie.
