A New Era in Latin American Diplomacy

This week's PD News headlines focused on Latin America and its diplomatic relations. With the United States engaging in traditional diplomacy less and less, China is seizing the opportunity to develop advantageous relations with countries like Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Peru, while Mexico's President is making the case of a renewed NAFTA to benefit all three countries involved. Other stories explored the Japanese cultural hub of Latin America, Sao Paulo, as well as Cuba's agreement with Google, who became the first foreign internet server in the country.
