People-to-people exchange forum to open

The 2015 Beijing International Forum on People to People Friendship will be held in Beijing on Nov. 12, according to the forum's press conference held yesterday in Beijing.

The forum will bring together over 90 politicians and experts from more than 20 countries, and they will discuss the themes of city construction and management, education, civilization, senior care and exchanges among young people.
This forum was jointly organized by the Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the Beijing Association for Science and Technology and the Xicheng District people's government of Beijing, said Tian Yan, executive vice chairman of the Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. The forum will provide suggestions to Beijing on how to become a world-class harmonious and livable city.
General people are well concerned with senior care. Experts on senior care from countries like Australia, Japan and France will make keynote speeches on the topic to share their own experiences.
The Beijing International Forum on People to People Friendship was initiated in 2011, and is held every two years. It is an important project of the Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries to actively expand the international exchange channels for the people of Beijing and promote the public diplomacy of Beijing.
