Saeed Al Eter is new director-general of Executive Office

Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Saturday appointed Saeed Mohammad Al Eter Al Danhani as the new director-general of the Executive Office in Dubai.

“Saeed Al Eter will also become Director General of the Executive Office in Dubai. We wish him all the best in his service to our nation,” Shaikh Mohammad announced on Twitter.

Al Eter Al Danhani is currently the director-general of the Public Diplomacy Office where he has managed several key strategic projects, including the establishment and management of the Office of Government Communication at the General Secretariat of the UAE Cabinet.

He developed the Federal Government general strategy from 2008 to 2011 and designed the communication teams of several federal entities.

He led several UAE strategic media campaigns, including Emirates Mars Mission, governmental strategies, UAE Vision 2021 and a range of governmental campaigns for national days. He also managed media and communications management of the World Government Summit and played a crucial role in the development and launch of several projects such as the Arab Reading Challenge, the Year of Reading 2016, and the UAE National Reading Strategy.

Al Eter is also the assistant secretary-general of Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives. He is a graduate of Mohammad Bin Rashid Programme for Leadership Development, and holds BSc degree in Communication Engineering from Khalifa University and an MBA from the American University of Sharjah. Before joining the UAE government, he worked as an engineer at Etisalat.
