On October 19-20, the Gorchakov Fund held the II NGO Training Courses for leaders of non-governmental organizations in the field of foreign affairs at the World Festival of Youth and Students in Sochi [.]
Attendees of the courses included representatives of non-governmental organizations from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Great Britain, Montenegro, Georgia, Iran, Afghanistan, India, Germany, Slovenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus. Representatives of foreign and Russian NGOs were introduced to principles, methods and opportunities of implementation of international projects.
Financial Director of the Gorchakov Fund Larisa Kovaleva told the participants about details of preparing financial reports based on the results of the grant distribution.
The attendees were also developing their own projects targeting promotion of international cooperation among NGOs under the guidance of coordinators of the Fund. The coordinators shared their experience in obtaining financial and non-financial resources for implementation of the projects in the field of public diplomacy, principles of media support of the projects, and their vision of the role of NGOs in the foreign policy of the state.
During the second day of the agenda the participants defended their international projects developed in Sochi.
All the participants received certificates of completion of the NGO Training Course organized by the Gorchakov Fund.
