The highlights of the trip are sure to be his two planned addresses.
The first will take place the afternoon of November 6th at the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. The university's Center on Public Diplomacy will be hosting the event 'A Conversation with Ma Ying-jeou' where topics will include the role of commerce, exchange, and tourism in forging bonds and easing cross-strait tensions.
The second address is to be hosted by an American think-tank based in Los Angeles, the Pacific Council on International Policy the following day. The Pacific Council on International Policy was founded in 1995 in partnership with the Council on Foreign Relations, with an aim to provide a US West Coast perspective on important foreign policy issues. ...
