Ljubljana to host Belarusian-Slovenian Business Forum 23

MINSK, 16 June (BelTA) - Belarusian-Slovenian Business Forum will be held in Ljubljana on 23 June, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told a press briefing, BelTA has learned.

“On 22-23 June Lubljana will host the 6th plenary meeting of the intergovernmental Belarusian-Slovenian commission for cooperation in trade, economy and science. The Belarusian-Slovenian Business Forum, organized by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries is scheduled for 23 June,” Dmitry Mironchik informed.

The commission is co-chaired by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alena Kupchyna and Director General for Economic and Public Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Robert Kokalj. The participants of the meeting will address topical issues of bilateral cooperation, including cooperation in agriculture, industry, transport, tourism and education [.]

According to Dmitry Mironchik, Alena Kupchyna is set to meet with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Karl Erjavec, Minister of Economic Development and Technology Zdravko Pocivalsek, Chairman of the Slovenia-Belarus friendship group in the Slovenian Parliament Marko Ferluga.
