Ensure that each staff under the OVCDP program is performing his/her duties and is working to the best of his/her abilities. Ensure that performance evaluation is conducted periodically for all staff under supervision, and that the form is completed and submitted to the project manager as per personnel rules and regulation. Prepares annual plan of action and budget with other staffs in the project; Prepares monthly, quarterly, bi-annually and annual reports (for Head Office, BoFED, DPPC and NOs) including impacts, problems encountered and solutions proposed and submits to the project manager on time. Prepares beneficiary profiles and other success stories and submits to the project manager on time; Prepares plan of action and budget for the component; Ensures that the component activities are being implemented in accordance with the project annual operational plan. Observes any changes within the project for impacts (both positive/negative) in the community and records them for self-monitoring and evaluation. Monitors progress of children in the program Intellectually, Spiritually, Socially and Physically and communicate with project manager; Conduct monthly review meetings with centre supervisors and social workers so as to discuss accomplishments, problems encountered and seek possible solutions together. In particular, he/she will: Core Functions / Responsibilities: With guidance from the direct supervisor and the coordinator, develop work plans for conducting different training, workshops and meetings Take part in the development and maintenance of data collection tools, Identify actors in the field of irregular migration and human trafficking in the sub-office area of operation; Compile directory of relevant actors including contact information and brief profile of the organization/entity; Maintain periodic communication with relevant actors including ministries and organizations working in the field of irregular migration and human trafficking; Assist in capacity building activities related with Network of Victim Assistance Service Providers (NoVASP) and National Referral Mechanism (NRM) Regularly collect data and compile information pertaining to migration trends from/to Ethiopia (human smuggling, trafficking, data on actions taken by IOM, partners, gaps etc.) Take part in the development and maintenance of migration and project results databases; Collect, compile and ensure timely reporting of interim and Final reports of different projects Assist in the preparation of periodic reports and summaries of data collected on project results; Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
