(EBC; November 7, 2017) - Following one of the deadliest attacks in the history of Somalia that took the lives of over 300 civilians, Ethiopia stepped up its humanitarian efforts providing medical consignments and Medics on October 20, 2017.
While receiving the Ethiopian Medics who have successfully accomplished their mission to Somalia, Foreign Minister Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu praised the members of the medical corps for their exemplary works that signify pan-African solidarity and people to people relationship in action.
The minister expressed his strong belief that such selfless actions would get simulated in other professions too. He put flower garlands around their necks for a mission accomplished.
Being delighted for the warm welcome accorded to them by the ministry, the Medics on their part gave short briefings on their 10 days stay in Mogadishu.
The Medics noted that the mission further inspired them to undertake such voluntary works whenever and wherever needed.
