Russian culture was introduced at the public diplomacy [JB emphasis] festival in Jakarta, reports the Coordinating council of Russian Compatriots website. Indonesian Foreign Ministry organised the event.

Students from the school working at the Russian Embassy were on stage together with diplomats. Dances, Russian songs and vilolin music played by German Dmitriev were followed by Russian delicious food and hot tea. The night called success.

There's no official  Russian Compatriots organisation in Indonesia but there are active social networks such as Russians in Indonesia,k Russians in Bali, etc. People share useful information, help each other, look and find jobs, organise cultural and educational events.
