A unique program between Newhouse and the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, the Public Diplomacy [JB emphasis] program is a two-year, two-degree (Public Relations/International Relations) opportunity for students looking to work in communication both at home and abroad. This week on the Newhouse Insider Podcast, Steven Pike, Assistant Professor of Public Relations, sits down with Eric to discuss the ins-and-outs of the Public Diplomacy program, studying abroad, and working for the State Department.

Steven Pike is a veteran of the State Department with over twenty years of experience around the globe. He has served in the United Arab Emirates, Canada, Senegal, Haiti, and Washington, D.C. He’s been known to make the occasional Doctor Who reference too.
