A public diplomacy "factoid" on Yul Brynner

Image from

From Wikipedia:
During World War II, Brynner worked as a French-speaking radio announcer and commentator for the US Office of War Information, broadcasting propaganda to occupied France.[14]
Note: OWI (1942-1945) was a "predecessor" of the United States Information Agency (1953-1999), which handled "public diplomacy" during the Cold War.

He not only worked as voice 'talent' at VOA he also worked with USIA in the 1950s in as much as the agency did an exhibit of his photography.
