In this new video from CPD, Congressman James Kolbe (U.S. House of Representatives [R-AZ, 1985-2007]) shares his thoughts on the impact of American public diplomacy on foreign policy [see]. Noting that public diplomacy is the "hallmark of American exceptionalism," Kolbe discusses the importance of multi-stakeholder collaboration and engagement on the "success and lack of success of American foreign policy." Kolbe's remarks were part of a larger public diplomacy summit CPD held on October 14 at the U.S. Institute  of Peace. To watch the entire event, click here.
