If you don’t like President Donald Trump, you probably won’t like Fox News

That headline is mighty close to being an absolute. President Donald Trump loves Fox News. Fox News loves the president.

(James Patterson has made a fortune writing short, choppy sentences combined into short, choppy paragraphs. Jimmy Dan Patterson hasn’t fared so well.)

The love between these two mammoth media moguls is much more than a puppy love reciprocal agreement.

Trump benefited greatly from Fox News and Fox News, likewise, has benefited from Trump’s presidency.

I shall list a few of the Fox folks who now hold White House positions.

The Wilford Brimley look-alike 69-year-old John Bolton recently replaced H.R. McMaster as Trump’s national security adviser.

Previously, Bolton worked for presidents Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush. For the last 10 years Bolton has been a regular on Fox News.

He grew up in a tough blue-collar working neighborhood. His father was a fireman and his mother was a stay-at-home mom. His political pals kiddingly refer to Bolton as “War Hawk.”

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, daughter of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, is now the White House press secretary, after replacing bootless Sean Spicer.

Her formative years were spent in Hope, Ark., which by the way was also the boyhood home of former President Bill Clinton.

Sanders grew up in a political environment. By her own admission she had a slightly different childhood.

By the time she was 8, her father already had her stuffing envelopes that contained political material.

She continued her political path into high school and many nights listened to conservative radio talk shows while sitting around the kitchen table with her family.

She received a degree in political science and communication from Ouachita Baptist College, located in Arkadelphia, Ark.

She served as a campaign director for George W. Bush and later worked for the Department of Education.

Sanders is only the third woman to hold the office of the White House press secretary, following Dee Dee Myers and Dana Perino.

Tony Sayegh began regularly appearing on Fox News while working as an investment consultant in 2009.

He diligently worked his way up the slippery ladder at Fox News and, by 2013, was assistant director of Fox Business News.

In March 2017, Sayegh was appointed assistant secretary of the U.S. Treasury. He still manages to find enough time to visit Fox Business News at least once a week.

Heather Nauert, the proverbial peroxided blonde who always showed up for work in a short temptation-red outfit, highlighted by a worthy amount of cleavage, is the next Fox News personality to end up in the White House.

She grew up in Rockford, Ill., and earned her master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University in New York City.

She previously served as a government consultant in the Department of Health and Insurance.

On March 28, Nauert was named as the under secretary of state for public diplomacy [JB emphasis] and public affairs.

That is a very important sounding title. She may have to buy two or three more bright temptation-red outfits.
