Emma is a second-year MALD candidate studying international communication, strategic management, and security studies. Prior to attending Fletcher, she spent four years working at the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C. on public diplomacy [JB emphasis] and human rights programs. Emma spent her summer back in Washington, D.C. where she worked on business and human rights issues (namely freedom of expression online and privacy) as a Google Policy Fellow at the Global Network Initiative. Emma grew up in Northern Virginia and holds a B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia. ...
