Public diplomacy, usually viewed as a nation-to-nation endeavor, is also active at the level of the U.S. state and local governments. One example is World Class Scholars [http://www.envisionsc.org/schools.php], a real-time online, cultural and educational exchange for grades 1 to 12.  It began in 2012, and after four years of pilot projects now has over 100 schools in 26 countries in the program. Last March, WCS launched globally as an independent project with a three year goal of connecting 10,000 schools with 1 million students.  If you plan on attending, please RSVP to FirstMondayForum.RSVP@gmail.com before the event. We look forward to seeing you there!
