The U.S. Embassy in Juba has announced an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out programs that promote youth development, diversity and tolerance or peacebuilding.

Program Objectives

The Public Affairs Section seeks proposals for small grants that work in one of the following four areas:
  • Youth Development
  • Diversity and Tolerance
  • Peacebuilding
  • Entrepreneurship
Funding Information
  • Length of performance period: 3-12 months
  • Award amounts: Awards may range from a minimum of $5000 to a maximum of $20,000
  • Total available funding: Up to $40,000
Eligible Applicants

The following organizations are eligible to apply:
  • South Sudanese Not-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations
  • Public and private educational institutions
