Levantine Public Diplomacy had a wonderful time running the Next Level Global All-Stars program in DC and UNC!
LPD partners with the University of North Carolina’s Department of Music to implement the U.S. Department of State’s new hip hop diplomacy program Next Level.
The Global NL program brought together a team of hip hop talents from across the globe, drawn from the six residency countries that Next Level worked in during its inaugural year.
The Global NL team spent a week in Washington, D.C., and a week at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During their program, they Global NL team had workshops on entrepreneurship, social activism through music and conflict resolution. They also did outreach program at schools, university symposiums and public concerts.
