More than 300 Malaysian expatriates from Dubai and Northern Emirates attended the Aidilfitri celebration [see] hosted by the Malaysian Consulate General's office based in Dubai.
In a statement here today, the consulate said the event was one of the public diplomacy programmes organised by the Consulate to establish rapport with Malaysians overseas.
The event, co-hosted together with all government agencies in Dubai and Malaysian Association in the United Arab Emirates, was also attended together with the expatriates' families at the MATRADE Hall in Dubai.
