Mandela Washington Fellowship alumnus, Alieu Jaiteh, explains to Acting Public Affairs Officer Amelia Broderick how the braille machine works during the latter's visit to Start Now IT center for visually impaired in Brikama, West Coast Region. Alieu, president of the IVLP Alumni Association - The Gambia founded the center in May 2016. The center provides free rehabilitation and Information Technology training to persons with visual impairment. In the recent past, Embassy's Public Diplomacy [JB emphasis] section supported Alieu's work with a small grant that strengthened the center's programs. It has so far trained more than 60.
