Gay rights may be the best weapon in the fight against Islamic State

In the wake of the Pulse nightclub tragedy, the Washington Institute published an analysis entitled The Islamic State's Views on Homosexuality, by Aaron Y. Zelin and Jacob Olidort.

Zelin and Olidort recommend a few possible policy responses to this violent homophobia. One is to create propaganda which exploits the awkward fact of the homosexuality within the inner sanctum of IS.  ...
