The Public Diplomacy Banjul Scholars Club hosted students from the University of Seattle, Tacoma, on January 18. The students discussed the U.S. college application process, education financing, and a typical college campus life experience. Discussions also addressed the difference between community college and a four-year university.
The Banjul Scholars Club is a dedicated group of top local high school students who are interested in pursuing higher education, particularly at universities in the United States. The Club strengthens the global EducationUSA programs in The Gambia and membership is drawn from five top high schools in the urban area.
