Just returned from India, where the State Department and the Strong Cities Network [JB - see]sent a delegation led by the mayors of Anaheim and Louisville to discuss countering violent extremism with local government and law enforcement officials, religious leaders, business leaders, and others. The 10-day trip concluded with a meeting with His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala. Amazing to see my idea get funded and come to fruition.
