Minsk to host Russian-Belarusian Youth Forum 6-9 June

MINSK, 3 June (BelTA) – The 4th Russian-Belarusian Youth Forum will be held in Minsk on 6-9 June, BelTA learned from Secretary of the Central Committee of the BRSM Youth Union Viktoria Mennanova. “It is expected that the event will be attended by the heads of the major youth organizations of Belarus and Russia, public figures involved in international youth cooperation and public diplomacy, government representatives of the two countries responsible for youth policy,” said Viktoria Mennanova. The youth delegates are scheduled to attend the 3rd Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, visit the enterprises of Minsk and Minsk Oblast to get familiar with the work of primary organizations of the BRSM Youth Union, discuss the Belarusian-Russian cooperation in youth policy, and outline promising joint projects.

The forum organizers are the National Council of Youth and Children's Associations of Russia and the BRSM Youth Union of Belarus. The forum is aimed at bolstering ties between youth organizations and students of the two countries and developing bilateral projects and programs.
