Jakarta-based fashion designer Handy Hartono and Yogyakarta's Lulu Lutfi Labibi have been given the honour as the first Indonesian designers to participate in the 8th Annual Museum Quartier Vienna Fashion Week - which is slated to take place between September 12-19, 2016.
The Museum Quartier Vienna Fashion Week is an annual event that attracts around 10,000 visitors - among which are fashion designers, commentators, fashionistas, as well as the industry's movers-and-shakers from Austria and beyond.
A member of the Information and Public Diplomacy staff for the Indonesian Embassy in Austria, Wina Retnosari, said that around 80 fashion designers - both international and local Austrian designers - are slated to take part in this year's Fashion Week festivities. Handy Hartono and Lulu Lutfi Labibi are scheduled to showcase around 20 designs from their 2017 Spring and Summer collection at Vienna's Museum Quartier. ...
