From film to graphic design, PD News headlines this week explored the power of visual storytelling. A graphic artist in China is using pictograms to explore cultural differences between East and West, while film buffs in India, Morocco and Vietnam are collaborating to produce cross-cultural movies and film festivals. Other headlines showcased the use of cartoons to counter ISIS propaganda and the intersection of art, politics and social commentary in both foreign films and an exhibition in South Africa.
