“Azerbaijan is a valuable partner for NATO. NATO highly appreciates Azerbaijan's participation in peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan. Participation of Azerbaijan in these operations is a great contribution in solving Euro-Atlantic challenges”, said Tacan İldem, NATO Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy, as he attends 4th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue.
Tacan İldem expressed satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan. Appreciating Azerbaijan's active participation in "Resolute support" peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan, Tacan İldem stressed that NATO and Azerbaijan cooperate in defense, security and other fields.
Speaking about the importance of the IV World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue Tacan İldem described this event as very important initiative in solving a number of problems in the modern world.
